When we were younger
We use to sit on my porch and talk smack about girls and proffesinal sports
And theres a lot of things i wanted to say but never got a chance to find the way
Take a look at all of our highschools
This is the first reason that i wanna write you
I know its tough when society is mest up
Gotta save money please dont take it out on us
So they even know, do they even know
If i was brave i'd write a letter to the president
And have him send it to the leaders of our parliament
But as for now i wont say nothing
And for all the kids who would stand in my residence
Who see this letter as a statement of our innocents
But for now i wont say nothing
Now that were older a brand new story unfolds
About God and the laws that we've always been told
And theres a lot of things i wanted to say but never got a chance to find the way
Same sex marriage in state we're they dont care
Murder is wrong but the jail times not fair
Not to mention date rape felonny and car theft
Break it down and tell me what we got left
Do they even know, do they even know
If i was brave i'd write a letter to the president
And have him pass it to the leaders of our parliament
But as for now i wont say nothing
For all the kids who would stand in my residence
Who see this statement of our innocents
But for now i wont say nothing
Take a good look at tommy hes a track star
Good role moddel had chance to go reall far
Then the school made a budget cut, cut out the track team
Now instead tommy is a crack head
Same sex marriage in state were they don't care
Murder is wrong but the jail times not fair
Not to mention date rape felonny and car theft
Break it down and tell me what we got left
If I was brave I'd write a letter to the president
And have him pass it to the leaders of our parliament
But for now I won't say nothing
From all the kids who would stand in my residence
Who see this letter as a statement of our innocence
As for now I'll start with something

Summers
I remember summer and my Oma and Opa's new house. My sister Kelly, our cousin Ariel, and I we use to waite all year to see eachother again. When summer came we know once school was out we'd be able to see eachother. We would begg Oma to make us panacakes every morning. The Marengo park is across the street behind her neighbers house, we use to walk trough the woods to get there. I can remember the bug bites and scratches we'd come home with but we didn't care because we got to spend the time together. Sometimes Opa would take us to the pool so we could swim for the day. We usually had a week or two every summer together and there are too many cousin night experiences to write but that is just some of what happened during summer.
